Through our LGBTQ+ marketing division, B.BLYSS!, we champion the voices and stories that make our community vibrant and resilient.
The Journey of B.BLYSS!
B.BLYSS! began as a dream shared by three passionate individuals: Tamara R. Allen, Shaakira Hassell, and Sandra. They envisioned a space where queer women could celebrate their identities, connect with one another, and experience joy. When Tara Honeywell joined in 2008, B.BLYSS! evolved into more than just an event series—it became a movement dedicated to cultural diversity and community empowerment.
B.BLYSS! was founded in response to a glaring need within the LGBTQ+ community: a space that celebrated and uplifted queer women of color. From its inception, B.BLYSS! aimed to be more than just a nightlife event—it sought to build a community, foster connections, and create opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Being Out Loud
For many of us, being out loud is an act of courage. It's about shedding the layers of fear and shame that society often imposes on us. It’s about embracing our true selves and sharing our stories with the world. At The Be! Agency, we understand the importance of this journey. We've seen firsthand how powerful it can be to live openly and authentically. Our campaigns through B.BLYSS! are designed to reflect this spirit, celebrating the unique stories and experiences that define us.
B.BLYSS! events are known for their vibrant energy and welcoming atmosphere. Whether it's a dance party, a wellness retreat, or a professional networking event, every gathering is designed to make attendees feel seen, valued, and celebrated. Over the years, B.BLYSS! has hosted countless events that have brought people together, from the legendary "Beats & Bonfires" to intimate art showcases featuring local LGBTQ+ artists.
Living Out Loud
Living out loud is about more than just visibility; it’s about action. It’s about creating spaces where all voices are heard and valued. This Pride Month, we honor those who have paved the way for us, and we commit to continuing their legacy. We celebrate the activists, the storytellers, and the everyday heroes who live their truth and inspire others to do the same.
One of the core principles of B.BLYSS! is inclusivity. We believe that everyone, regardless of their background or identity, deserves a space where they can be their true selves. This commitment to inclusivity is reflected in everything we do, from our event programming to our marketing campaigns. By partnering with local LGBTQ+ organizations and influencers, we ensure that our events are diverse, accessible, and representative of the broader community.

Celebrating Our Stories
One of the most beautiful aspects of Pride is the diversity of stories that come to light. These stories are as varied as the people who tell them. They are stories of love and loss, of struggle and triumph. They remind us that while our experiences may differ, we are united by a shared desire for acceptance and equality.
Take, for example, the story of Jasmine, a young woman who found the courage to come out to her family during a B.BLYSS! event. Surrounded by a supportive community, she felt a sense of belonging she had never experienced before. Or consider Michael, who, after attending one of our workshops, started his own LGBTQ+ advocacy group at his college. These stories inspire us and remind us why we do what we do.
